Proposal

To popularize science and academic scientific knowledge for primary and secondary school students, reducing the distance between the production of scientific knowledge and the community. In approaching scientific research in a more creative and accessible language, it is intended to demonstrate the social relevance of the basic and applied research developed in the Biological Sciences Postgraduate Program of the Federal University of Goiás. It is hoped to contribute to bring students closer to elementary and secondary education and university research, presenting science as a tool of transformation and progress of society.
The project also acts in the ongoing training of teachers in the area of ​​Biological Sciences of basic education providing them with the opportunity to update on topics and methodologies applied in the area. In this way, the aim is to establish a mechanism for permanent dialogue between graduate students and the school community.
